Gabriel is a Northern Irish Tenor, studying with Paul Nilon.
He has recently received a BMus (Hons) from the Royal Northern College of Music. In his time at the RNCM, he sang choruses for Street Scene, Cosi fan Tutte, performed as a Guide in La Vie Parisienne, and sang a principal role in Theodora. He also performed excerpts from the roles of and Bardolfo in Verdi's Falstaff, and Basilio in Mozarts Marriage of Figaro.
Outside RNCM, He has performed in The Flying Dutchman at Northern Irish Opera, and with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra he has performed in Peter Grimes and Berlioz' Grande Messe de Morts. Working for four consecutive seasons at Longborough Festival Opera, he covered Basilio in The Marriage of Figaro, sung First Armed Man in The Magic Flute, and performed in the Chorus for La Traviata. This year he will play Saturino in La Calisto as a Longborough Young Artist.
He has performed Vaughan Williams Sea Symphony at the BBC Proms and has worked with numerous professional groups, including the Gabrieli consort, and has had the opportunity to work with internationally renowned Soprano Frau Edda Moser at the Casalmaggiore Festival, Italy.
